Tamarindo Sportfishing

Sportfishing Tamarindo: We offer 3 different size boats for Tamarindo fishing. Each can be reserved for half or full days:

Fishing Tamarindo Sportfishing Guanacaste38' Topaz Express; powered by twin Detroit turbo diesels. This Tamarindo Sportfishing boat is fully equipped with Penn International, Shimano and Accurate tackle, depth sounder and GPS. Comfortably seats 6 passengers in the shade, features a large cockpit with full size fighting chair and double spreader outriggers. The cabin has a V-berth and a private head with shower. Boat is captained by Randy Wilson on full days or Willy Vega for half days.
Full Day $1300 / Half Day $730

Fishing Tamarindo Sportfishing Guanacaste27' Dusky;  equipped with fast twin 250 hp Cummins diesels, tower, fighting chair and outriggers. This Tamarindo Sportfishing boat has a spacious cockpit due to its 11.5' beam and a large shaded seating area. The cabin has a head. The boat is outfitted with GPS, depthsounder, Penn International and Shimano tackle. Captain José Asdrubal López is bilingual and has been sport fishing these waters since 1987.
Full Day $880 / Half Day $550

Fishing Tamarindo Sportfishing Guanacaste27' Escapade; powered by a fast 220 hp Cummins diesel and a walk-around cuddy cabin with a V-berth and head. The cockpit has a comfortable 10' beam and the extra large top provides generous shade. The boat is outfitted with a fighting chair, outriggers, depth sounder, GPS and radio. Penn International and Shimano tackle is provided. Capt. Maikel Rodriguez is fluent in English and has been sportfishing here since the early 90's.
Full Day $780 / Half Day $480

Half days are 5 hours and include a snack. Full days are 9 hours and include a complete box lunch. Beers, soft drinks and bottled water are provided on all charters, as well as bait and ice. On board tackle is 20 to 130 pound. Please bring your own ultra light and fly tackle. Full days are recommended for offshore bill fishing.

Costa Rica law requires all anglers to have a fishing license. The cost is $24 per person and it is valid for 1 year. It may be bought on the beach in the morning prior to your fishing charter. Credit cards are not accepted, please bring the amount in cash dollars or colones.

This Tamarindo Sportfishing provider is licensed by Costa Rica's Tourist Board, the ICT (license # 424) and fully insured. Safety equipment includes VHF radios, cellular telephones, anchors, flares and life jackets.
