San Jose
San Jose is the capital city of Costa Rica. This is the economic heartbeat of the country and home to most of the national museums, galleries and theaters. Juan Santamaria International Airport is located just outside of San Jose in Alajuela.

San Isidro is the trading zone between Southern Costa Rica and the rest of the country.

Golfito
Golfito is a great place for sport fishing, but is not family friendly.

Puntarenas
Puntarenas is a port city that has caters to cruise ships.
