Playa Samara, Costa Rica

Description: Samara is a family friendly beach side village located on the western Nicoya Peninsula coastline. The village is formed along the palm studded, crescent shaped bay that Samara is famous for. This beautiful bay is a tourist favorite for swimmers and snorkelers as it is protected by a coral barrier reef. Samara maintains an authentic Costa Rica feel and is home to numerous sea side restaurants and Tico owned hotels. The village is easily accessable on paved roads and travelers will be greeted with warm hospitality.
