Sierpe

Sierpe

Sierpe is a small, sleepy town located on the end of a peninsula just south of Palmar Sur and Palmar Norte. Though Sierpe has much to offer, most utilize the town as an overnight stop before continuing on to destinations further south on the remote Osa Peninsula, such as Drake Bay and Corcovado National Park. Sierpe is surrounded by the Sierpe Mangrove system, which is the largest mangrove in Costa Rica. Visitors can expect to experience a truly Costa Rican atmosphere during their stay, and the people in this quiet town are warm and welcoming. Located in Southern Costa Rica, Sierpe is fairly remote. Most visitors choose to fly into the Palmar Sur Airport, which services domestic airlines.
