The Central Valley of Costa Rica is home to well over half of the country's population. San Jose is the capital city of Costa Rica and the heartbeat of the economy. Alajuela is located 15 kilometers from San Jose, and is home to Juan Santamaria Interantional Airport (despite common misconception that San Jose is). Escazu is a flourishing city, located 9 kilometers west of San Jose. Cartago at one time was the country's capital and offers a rich cultural experience.

Liberia is located in the Guanacaste Province. This is the home to Daniel Oduber International Airport. This is the most prominent city on the western side of Costa Rica. We have indexed Liberia hotels in the Guancaste Beaches, as there simply are not enough Liberia hotels or reasons to stay there to justify a directory.

 

Ciudad Limon
Sorry folks, we simply do not work with hotels in Limon. This is the largest city on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. This port town can be dangerous, and we simply cannot recommend anybody to stay in Limon.
