Jungle & Volcano Costa Rica Hotels Directory
Costa Rica Hotels » Jungle and Volcano Costa Rica Hotels
The Jungle and Volcano Costa Rica Hotel directory is designed to help you by only listing popular jungle and volcano destinations. We have included a small description of what to expect in each of these destinations to save you time and narrow down your search. The most important thing to keep in mind when searching for your Costa Rica hotel is that this is a country with amazing diversity. Always choose your destination first, then choose the perfect Costa Rica hotel in that destination.
Arenal Volcano & La Fortuna HotelsArenal Volcano & La Fortuna Hotels
Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Arenal experiences mini eruptions every 5 - 10 minutes, spewing lava. This is the only volcano in Costa Rica that actually releases lava on a regular basis. La Fortuna is the closest town to Arenal, and is the adventure capital of Central America. Visitors to this unique area can expect a wide variety of activities available as well as an abundance of nature.
Travel tip; Keep in mind that when you visit Arenal Volcano, there is only a 50/50 chance that you will see the top. This is the rain forest and clouds gather around the top of the volcano - sometimes more often than not. Come for the wide range of activities, and you will be pleasantly surprised if you are fortunate enough to see the top.
