Nuevo Arenal is located close to Arenal Volcano. This is a laid back town that fronts Arenal Lake. Visitors need a car to get around.

Osa PeninsulaOsa Peninsula

This is the most remote destination in Costa Rica and home to Corcovado National Park. A writer for National Geographic Magazine described the Corcovado as being the most biologically intense place in the world.

Puerto Jimenez is located on the Osa Peninsula. This is a great destination for hard core sport fisherman, as many records have been caught in local waters.

TortugueroTortuguero National Park

Tortuguero is located within the protected borders of Tortuguero National Park. This park was created in the 1970's to protect 4 species of sea turtles that come year annually to nest during the months of July through October.

Location: Northeast Caribbean coast. Can only be accessed by plane or boat.
