Osa Wildlife Refuge

The Osa Wildlife Refuge was established in 1999 on 3962 acres of land in the Puntarenas Province to protect the forested beach area on the southern tip of the Osa Peninsula at Cabo Matapalo where the Osa meets the Pacific Ocean.

Temperatures at the Osa Wildlife Refuge range from 75 – 90 degrees F, and it is mostly hot and humid.  Along with light clothing you will need raingear.
