Costa Rica Spanish Lesson Number 1 - "Pura Vida" means "Pure Life"... This is a very common expression used in Costa Rica, and is used as both a greeting as well as departing saying. The concept is to wish "Pure Life or Healthy Life" to the person that you are speaking with.
