Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Juan Santamaria
International Airport, you will be greeted by a Pacific Trade Winds S.A.
representative. You will then be brought to the 4 Star Hampton Inn and Suites located in Alajuela. This is a standard room that offers your choice of a one King size bed or two Queen size beds. This room also comes furnished with a small refrigerator for any refreshments and a microwave oven for your convenience. Breakfast included daily. Day 2: Today you will see the Wonders of Costa Rica all combined
into one exciting and full day. Our Best of Costa Rica Tour, includes:
Visit to Poas Volcano, Sarapiqui River Boat Ride, guided tour through
La Paz Waterfalls & Gardens, Hummingbird Gallery and Doka Coffee
Plantation. This all day action packed tour includes Lunch & Dinner. |
Day 3: Transportation will be provided to Costa Verde located in Manuel Antonio. During your stay, you will enjoy a large room with jungle vistas, featuring post & beam hardwood construction. All units have two queen-size beds, ceiling fans, air conditioning, cable TV, kitchenette and balcony. This tropical paradise is recognized world wide for its beautiful beaches and the abundant wildlife in the

Day 4: A bilingual naturalist guide will lead you on an easy hike
through the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park. Along the
way, your guide will point out the abundant wildlife, flora and fauna.
This park is home to a wide variety of endangered species, which
makes it an important and vital eco system.

Day 5: Enjoy a relaxing day on one of the most beautiful
tropical beaches in the world. Take a dip in the crystal clear
blue waters of the South Pacific. Bask in the warm rays of
the tropical sun, as you listen to the waves crashing and
howler monkeys, (well howling) in the background.

Day 6: Transportation will be provided to Hotel Poco a Poco, located in Monteverde. Your Deluxe fully equipped room provides comfortable private bath, hair dryer, telephone, cable TV, DVD, safe deposit box and comfortable orthopedic beds. Guests will also enjoy the heated swimming pool with swim to bar and Jacuzzi. Breakfast included daily.

Day 7: You will soar through the tree tops of the Cloud Forest on your canopy zipline adventure. This high flying, high speed canopy course
consists of 16 ziplines, 1 rappel and a giant tarzan swing!!! The canopy
zipline is a one of a kind adrenaline packed tour which is Costa Rica's
most popular adventure activity with thousands participating annually.

Day 8: A bilingual naturalist guide will lead you on an easy hike
through the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Your guide will point
out and describe many endangered species, as well as educate you
on the importance of sustaining this vital reserve. At an average
elevation of 1,400 meters, this forest is home to numerous species
of wildlife, unique to this area.

Day 9: Our famous Jeep-Boat-Jeep transportation to La Fortuna.
After crossing Arenal Lake which provides some of the best photo
ops of the imposing volcano, you will be brought to the 4 Star Arenal Springs Resort & Spa or Montana de Fuego Resort & Spa. Both of these popular resorts are located in La Fortuna. This fun little
tourist town is located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal
Volcano.

Day 10: Professional bilingual guides will lead you through
class I (less than) rapids on your Safari Float. This fun filled
adventure will provide plenty of memories and the feel of whitewater rafting without the rapids. Along the way, your guide will point out the abundant wildlife that inhabits
the river's edge.

Day 11. Today you will go on a horseback ride to La Fortuna
Waterfalls. Bring your cameras for this one! The waterfall is
impressive at 150 ft tall. With beautiful flora & fauna, abundant wildlife
and unsurpassed geological beauty, you will create a memory for
many years to come. |
Day 12: In the afternoon, you will go on an easy hike through the Rainforest, with a bilingual naturalist guide who will point out the
abundant wildlife, flora & fauna. When you reach the clearing, you will
be at the closest observation point to Arenal Volcano. Being the third
most active volcano in the world, Arenal erupts every 5 to 10 minutes. After approximately 45 minutes of viewing, you will be able to visit the
geothermally heated Baldi Hot Springs where you will be able to relax & bathe as Arenal erupts in the background. |

Day 13: Today you will go on a Guided visit to the Maleku Indigenous Village. During your stay you will be able to
immerse yourself in the colorful culture of these peaceful people. This
tribe has roots to this region dating back thousands of years. Many of
the old traditions are still carried on to this day. While you are here you
will be able to help support the Malekus by purchasing hand crafted
indigenous souvenirs. |
Day 14: Private transportation will be provided to
Juan Santamaria International Airport scheduled to
arrive 3 hours prior to your departure.
