Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (San Jose International Airport can easily be arranged), you will be greeted by a Pacific Trade Winds S.A. representative. Private transportation will then be provided to the 4 Star Arenal Springs Resort located in La Fortuna. This fun little tourist town is located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano. During your stay, you will enjoy a Junior Suite equipped with king or queen size beds, A/C, cable TV, ceiling fan, refrigerator, telephone, security box, hair dryer, and Terrace with an amazing view of Arenal Volcano.
(Rental Car can be substituted for provided transportation. Please see below for difference in pricing.)

Day 2: In the afternoon, you will go on an easy hike through the Rainforest, with a bilingual naturalist guide who will point out the abundant wildlife, flora & fauna. When you reach the clearing, you will be at the closest observation point to Arenal Volcano. Being the third most active volcano in the world, Arenal erupts every 5 to 10 minutes.
After approximately 45 minutes of viewing, you will visit the geo-thermally heated Baldi Hot Springs where you will be able to relax & bathe as Arenal erupts in the background.
Options: Add dinner for an additional $20 per person. Upgrade to Eco Termales Hot Springs or Tabacon Grand Thermal Spa for an additional $50 per person including dinner.

Day 3: You will soar through the tree tops of the Rainforest on your Canopy Zipline Adventure. This high flying, high speed canopy course consists of 15 cables and 18 platforms and a giant Tarzan swing!!! The canopy zipline is a one of a kind adrenaline packed tour which is Costa Rica's most popular adventure activity with thousands participating annually.

Day 4. Transportation will be provided to the 4 Star, Beach Front Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort located at Tamarindo Beach. During your stay you will enjoy a Tropical Poolside Room comfortably equipped with electronic door locks, safety deposit box, cable television with international sports, news and movie channels, air conditioning, mini bar, national and international telephone service, king size bed or two queen size beds, wireless connections in the hotel's public areas and wireless connections will be available soon in each hotel room. Breakfast included daily.

Day 5: A professional bilingual guide will lead you on a snorkeling adventure above a vibrant tropical coral reef. Costa Rica's Pacific Coast is teaming with tropical fish and you are sure to create a memory for years to come
Canopy Zipline or Horseback Riding on the beach can be substituted at no additional charge. Sunset Catamarn Cruise, Palo Verde Riverboat Ride or ATV are available for an additional $35 per person.

Days 6 & 7: Enjoy a couple relaxing days on one of the most beautiful tropical beaches in the world. Take a dip in the crystal clear blue waters of the South Pacific. Bask in the warm rays of the tropical sun, as you listen to the waves crashing and howler monkeys, (well howling) in the background.

Day 8: Transportation will be provided to Liberia International Airport scheduled to arrive 3 hours prior to your departure.
Alternative Airport Options:
A) Shuttle transfer is available to San Jose Airport (SJO) for no additional cost if your flight is after 3pm.
B) Private transfers are available for any flight time for an additional cost, please inquire for details.
C) We can provide an afternoon shuttle to the Holiday Inn Express Airport hotel on Day 6 and provide an airport shuttle on Day 7 for no additional charge. If you choose this option lunch and dinner will not be provided on Day 6.
D) You can add an additional night at an airport hotel. Contact us for options and pricing.
