 Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Juan Santamaria
International Airport, you will be greeted by a Pacific Trade Winds S.A.
representative. Private transportation will then be provided to the 3 Star Hotel Fortuna, located in La Fortuna. During your stay, you will enjoy a room equipped with central air conditioning, sound proofing, hot water, cable TV and room service. This fun little
tourist town is located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal
Volcano.
Breakfast included daily. |
 Day 2: You will go on an easy hike through the Rainforest, with a
bilingual naturalist guide who will point out the abundant wildlife, flora & fauna. When you reach the clearing, you will be at the closest observation point to Arenal Volcano. Being the third most active
volcano in the world, Arenal erupts every 5 to 10 minutes. After
approximately 45 minutes of viewing, you will be able to visit the
geothermally heated Baldi Hot Springs where you will be able to relax & bathe as Arenal erupts in the background. |
Day 3: Today you will have your choice of the following options:
 A)
Professional guides will lead you on a horseback ride up the mountain. Upon arrival to the pavilion, you will be suited up for your high flying, high speed Canopy Zipline Adventure. After completing the zipline course, your guides will lead you back down the mountain side via horseback. This course is considered one of the best in the country and provides breath taking views of Arenal Volcano.
B) You will go on a river boat ride down Rio Frio in the wild Caño
Negro National Park. A bilingual naturalist guide will point out the
abundant wildlife, flora & fauna that call this park home. This reserve is
another important sanctuary for a wide variety of endangered species. Lunch included.
C)Professional bilingual guides will lead you through Class II and III rapids on one of Costa Rica's best Whitewater Rafting rivers, the Rio Balsa. Lunch included. |
Day 4. Transportation will be provided to Las Tres Banderas located in Manuel Antonio. During your stay, you will enjoy a large room with jungle vistas, ceiling fans, air conditioning, cable TV, and balcony. This tropical paradise is recognized world wide for its beautiful beaches and the abundant wildlife in the
jungles that line them. Breakfast included daily. |
Day 5: A bilingual naturalist guide will lead you on an easy hike
through the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park. Along the
way, your guide will point out the abundant wildlife, flora and fauna.
This park is home to a wide variety of endangered species, which
makes it an important and vital eco system.

Day 6: Enjoy a relaxing day on one of the most beautiful
tropical beaches in the world. Take a dip in the crystal clear
blue waters of the South Pacific. Bask in the warm rays of
the tropical sun, as you listen to the waves crashing and
howler monkeys, (well howling) in the background.

 Day 7: Private transportation will be provided to
Juan Santamaria International Airport scheduled to
arrive 3 hours prior to your departure.
