Smooth Tropics Luxury Inclusive Adventure
Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (San Jose International Airport can easily be arranged), you will be greeted by a Pacific Trade Winds S.A. representative. Private transportation will then be provided to the 4 Star Lost Iguana Resort and Spa, located in La Fortuna. During your stay, you will enjoy a Deluxe Room luxuriously appointed with local and International artwork, King size bed or 2 Double beds, A/C, Ceiling fans, Satellite T.V., Coffee Maker, Mini-bar Refrigerator, Safety box and Private balcony with excellent Volcano view. Breakfast is included daily.

Day 2: In the afternoon, you will go on an easy hike through the Rainforest, with a bilingual naturalist guide who will point out the abundant wildlife, flora & fauna. When you reach the clearing, you will be at the closest observation point to Arenal Volcano. Being the third most active volcano in the world, Arenal erupts every 5 to 10 minutes.
After approximately 45 minutes of viewing, you will visit the geo-thermally heated Tabacon Grand Thermal Spa and Hot Springs where you will be able to relax & bathe as Arenal erupts in the background. Dinner included.

Day 3: Today you will have your choice of 1 of the following options:
A) Professional bilingual guides will navigate you through Class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great adventure for beginners and experienced rafters alike. Lunch included.
B) You will go on a river boat ride down Rio Frio in the wild Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge. A bilingual naturalist guide will point out the abundant wildlife, flora & fauna that call this park home. This reserve is another important sanctuary for a wide variety of endangered species. Lunch included.

Day 4: Transportation will be provided to the 5 Star All Inclusive Barcelo Tambor Beach Resort, located on Playa Tambor. During your stay, you will enjoy a Standard room equipped with king size bed or 2 double beds, magnifying mirror, telephone, satellite tv, air conditioning, mini bar, coffee-maker, safe, and terrace or balcony with ocean or garden view. You will also enjoy All Inclusive accommodations (all meals & drinks, both alcoholic & non-alcoholic).
Upgrade to a domestic flight including ground transfers for an additional $138 per person.

Day 5: Be sure to eat a light breakfast! Today you will go on a high speed, high flying canopy zipline adventure. On this gravity defying adventure, you will soar through the canopy of the rain forest on zipline cables, suspended by wheel and harness.
After your thrilling adventure you can cool off with refreshing swim beneath the majestic Montezuma Waterfalls!

Day 6: Enjoy a relaxing day on one of the most beautiful tropical beaches in the world. Take a dip in the crystal clear blue waters of the South Pacific. Bask in the warm rays of the tropical sun, as you listen to the waves crashing and howler monkeys, (well howling) in the background.

Day 7: Shuttle transportation will be provided to San Jose International Airport or a San Jose area hotel.
Alternative Transportation Options:
A) Upgrade to a domestic flight for an additional $138 pp**
B) Private transfers are available for any flight time for an additional cost, please inquire for details.
C) We can provide an afternoon shuttle to the Holiday Inn Express Airport hotel on Day 6 and provide an airport shuttle on Day 7 for no additional charge. If you choose this option lunch and dinner will not be provided on Day 6.
D) You can add an additional night at an airport hotel. Contact us for options and pricing.
