Beaches & Volcano Family Adventure |
 Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Juan Santamaria International Airport, you will be greeted by a Pacific Trade Winds S.A. representative. Private Transportation will be provided to Azania Bungalows, located on Costa Rica's Southern Caribbean coast in Puerto Viejo. During your stay, you will enjoy a Private bungalow with breakfast included daily. Each bungalow is crafted in a unique style with exotic woods and thatched-palm roofs, with one queen size bed and two twin size beds, Private deck and hammock out front to relax and enjoy the colorful tropical gardens.
(Rental Car can be substituted for provided transportation. Please see below for difference in pricing.)

 Day 2: Spend your day relaxing poolside or on the beautiful white sand beach just steps from your bungalow. Take a dip in the clear blue waters of the South Caribbean. Bask in the warm rays of the tropical sun, as you listen to the waves crashing and howler monkeys, (well howling) in the background.

 Day 3: You will visit the many unique ecosystems of Cahuita National Park, one of the most beautiful regions of the country with its picture postcard of white sandy beaches, thousands of swaying palm trees, a calm sea of crystal-clear water and a live coral reef. In a glass fiber boat, plus Capitan and guide, you will be able to appreciate hundreds of varieties of tropical fish, coral species, crustaceans, sea urchins, sea cucumber, lobsters, sponges, hawksbill turtle and green turtle. After snorkeling, the Capitan will take you to Cahuita Point, where you can swim in the peaceful and warm water of the Caribbean Sea while you take a refreshment of tropical fruits. Later, you will enjoy the diversity of the forest on a guided hike in the National Park where you will see many different species of flora and fauna, such as: monkeys, sloths, iguanas, spiders, Morphos butterflies, birds, snakes and much more. Caribbean lunch included.

 Day 4: Today you will be able to enjoy the beaches of the Southern Caribbean once again. Relax during the morning, and as the day progresses be sure to stroll down the beach and explore the area. From the monkey filled jungles to the extraordinary inlets there are many sights to see. There are also a few beach side huts that offer exotic foods.

 Day 5: Transportation will be provided to the 4 Star Arenal Springs Resort located in La Fortuna. This fun little tourist town is located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano. During your stay, you will enjoy a Junior Suite equipped with king or 2 queen size beds, A/C, cable TV, ceiling fan, refrigerator, telephone, security box, hair dryer, and Terrace with an amazing view of Arenal Volcano. Breakfast is included daily.

Day 6: In the afternoon, you will go on an easy hike through the Rainforest, with a bilingual naturalist guide who will point out the abundant wildlife, flora & fauna. When you reach the clearing, you will be at the closest observation point to Arenal Volcano. Being the third most active volcano in the world, Arenal erupts every 5 to 10 minutes. After approximately 45 minutes of viewing, you will visit the geo-thermally heated Baldi Hot Springs where you will be able to relax & bathe as Arenal erupts in the background.
Options: Add dinner for an additional $20 per person. Upgrade to Eco Termales Hot Springs for an additional $50 per person including dinner, or Tabacon Hot Springs for an additional $74 per person including dinner.
**Clients can substitute this tour for night entrance to The Springs Resort Hot Springs for no additional charge. Transportation and the Arenal Volcano Hike is not included, but can be arranged for an additional fee. Dinner is included at The Springs Resort.

 Day 7:
Professional bilingual guides will lead you through
class I (less than) rapids on your Safari Float. This fun filled
adventure will provide plenty of memories and the feel of whitewater rafting without the rapids. Along the way, your guide will point out the abundant wildlife that inhabits
the river's edge.

 Day 8: Private transportation will be provided to
Juan Santamaria International Airport scheduled to
arrive 3 hours prior to your departure.
