Day 1:  Welcome to Costa Rica!  Upon arrival to Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia (Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose can easily be arranged), you will be greeted by a Pacific Trade Winds S.A. representative. Private transportation will be provided to Flamingo Beach Resort, located on the pristine golden sands of Flamingo Beach.  During your stay, you will enjoy a Standard Room equipped with 1 King or 2 Double beds, Air Conditioning and garden views.  Flamingo Beach Resort is excellent for swimming & snorkeling.

Day 2: Enjoy a relaxing day on one of the most beautiful tropical beaches in the world.  Take a dip in the crystal clear blue waters of the South Pacific. Bask in the warm rays of the tropical sun, as you listen to the waves crashing and howler monkeys, (well howling) in the background.

Day 3:  You will go on a Romantic Sunset Catamaran Cruise and Snorkeling Adventure through coastal waters.  There is a lot of room on the boat for sunbathing and relaxation as your trip heads out to the sea to begin your adventures. Along the way you will stop to snorkel, kayak, or enjoy the floats provided. After working up an appetite, fresh bocas and cold drinks will be served as you set sail to seek more marine life. As you return, a beautiful sunset will light up the sky behind you. Also included, appetizers and open bar, snorkeling equipment, and a free Blue Dolphin T-shirt.

Day 4: Another chance to get back to the self-adventure you started earlier. This will give you the chance to explore the town, spend a day in paradise, and maybe have a cocktail at the many beach side restaurants and bars. Find your favorite location and settle in to watch an amazing sunset.

Day 5: Transportation will be provided to the Hacienda Guachipelin Adventure Ranch, bordering the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. During your stay, you will enjoy a Superior Room with breath taking views, two double beds, and breakfast included daily.

Day 6: An awe-insiring day of adventure as you you start your day with a 45-minute horseback ride through dry forest, to the base of La Victoria Waterfall. After a safety briefing, everyone will be provided their own personal round raft (tube). As you are guided through the white rapids of the Rio Negro, you will pass through class I and II rapids with a remarkable view of scenery in the canyon.

Day 7: Today you will start off with the Las Pailas, which is a unique attraction located inside the Rincon de la Vieja. This area contains boiling mud and water, very diverse vegetation and steam vents. After departing Las Pailas, you will continue your day on horseback to the Oropendola Waterfalls, which are 25 meters high, and cascade into an emerald green pool surrounding by a forest covered canyon.

The day finishes with a little relaxing for your skin and muscles as you enjoy nature's mysterious forces and healing energy at the Volcanic Mud Springs and Spa in the Simbiosis Spa located inside the Rincon de la Vieja. Here, the natural mud levels reach temperatures of 104 degrees F, 40 degrees C.

Day 8: Transportation will be provided to the 4-Star All-Inclusive Villas Sol Beach Resort & Spa, located in the quaint sea-side village of Playa Hermosa (translated literally to "Beautiful Beach") During your stay, you will enjoy a single bedroom villa with all meals and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) included. Also included is access to all non-motorized water sports and a wide range of resort activities.

Day 9:  During this day, you will take advantage of the resorts activities while you await your afternoon and sunset cruise along the waters of Playa Hermosa.  The resort offers a variety of free activities you can enjoy or you can add adventures such as ATV's or waverunners if you so desire.
In the afternoon and evening, you will enjoy a romantic sunset cruise with a good chance at seeing marine life such as dolphins, whales, sea turtles or other aquatic life.

Day 10: A final chance to get back on the beach in front of the Pacific Sun and work on that tropical tan. This day will give you the opportunity to do what you want and make your own adventure! Whether relaxing on the beach beneath a palm tree with a refreshing beverage or choosing to add a tour on this free day, be sure to take advantage of this last whole day in Paradise!
