 Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Juan Santamaria
International Airport, you will be greeted by a Pacific Trade Winds S.A.
representative. You will then be brought to the 4 Star Hampton Inn and Suites located in Alajuela. This is a standard room that offers your choice of a one King size bed or two Queen size beds. This room also comes furnished with a small refrigerator for any refreshments and a microwave oven for your convenience. Breakfast included. (Rental Car can be substituted for provided transportation. Inquire for details.) |
Day 2: You wil arise early for transportation through mountains, cloud forests, and a banana plantation before boarding a riverboat to the island of Jungle Tarpon Lodge. After checking into the Lodge's spacious and comfortable rooms, fishing will fill the afternoon until dinner. After some cocktails and dinner, you will enjoy and even alligator spotting tour. |
Days 3, 4 & 5: Three full days of Offshore fishing along the coastline in search of large Tarpon. On any such day, if weather should prevent comfortable ocean fishing, you will target snook and other or species that inhabit the Rio California and lagoons that occupy the jungle.

 Day 6: Today is a choice to keep going after the 'big catch' or to explore the Tortuguero National Park. The fishing can be either the offshore tarpon or snook on the rio for those who want more. Tortuguero is the home to the Loggerhead, Green, Hawksbill, and Leatherback Sea Turtles. On this day, you may even choose to visit the upriver village Cantina for an experience of jungle culture.

Day 7: After a morning of fishing in your final attempt at the 'Big One', transportation will be provided back to the 4-star Hampton Inn & Suites, located in Alajuela.This is a standard room that offers your choice of a one King size bed or two Queen size beds. This room also comes furnished with a small refrigerator for any refreshments and a microwave oven for your convenience. Breakfast included. |
 Day 7: Private transportation will be provided to
Juan Santamaria International Airport scheduled to
arrive 3 hours prior to your departure.
