 Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Juan Santamaria International Airport, you will be greeted by a Pacific Trade Winds S.A. representative. Private transportation will then be provided to Costa Verde located in Manuel Antonio. During your stay, you will enjoy a large room with jungle vistas, featuring post & beam hardwood construction. All units have two queen-size beds, ceiling fans, air conditioning, cable TV, kitchenette and balcony. This tropical paradise is recognized world wide for its beautiful beaches and the abundant wildlife in the
jungles that line them. Breakfast included daily. (Car Rental can be substituted for provided transportation. Inquire for details.) |
Day 2: Today you will go on a Mangrove Riverboat Ride through the
Damas Island Estuary. This is another delicate eco system which
contains a wide variety of endangered species. Your bilingual
naturalist guide will point out the abundant birds, reptiles & wildlife that
inhabit the mangroves. This day of exploration includes a hearty meal. |
Day 3: A bilingual naturalist guide will lead you on a tour of discovery
through Manuel Antonio National Park. Along the way your guide will
point out the abundant wildlife, flora & fauna. This park plays a vital
role in the global environment as it is home to a wide variety of
endangered species. |
 Day 4: After a morning of exploration on Manuel Antonio's
tropical beaches, private transportation will be provided to the 4 Star Hampton Inn and Suites located in Alajuela. This is a standard room that offers your choice of a one King size bed or two Queen size beds. This room also comes furnished with a small refrigerator for any refreshments and a microwave oven for your convenience. Breakfast included daily. |
Day 5: Today you will see the wonders of Costa Rica all combined
into one exciting and full day. Our Best of Costa Rica Tour, includes:
Visit to Poas Volcano, Sarapiqui River Boat Ride, guided tour through
La Paz Waterfalls & Gardens, Hummingbird Gallery and Doka Coffee
Plantation. This all day action packed tour includes Lunch & Dinner.

 Day 6: Transportation will be provided to the Laguna Lodge located in Tortuguero. Along the way, you will be transported
by boat through the Tortuguero Canals. After lunch, you will
visit the small town of Tortuguero along with its museum and
beach. All rooms offer private bathroom, hot water, ceiling
fan, reading lamps, wooden bench outside your room to sit
and admire the gardens. During your stay, all meals and
natural drinks will be included as well. |
Day 7: Start off the day with a sunrise on the Caribbean
Cruise through the Tortuguero Canals. Later, you will have
the option of going on a guided hike to Tortuguero Hill or
another river boat cruise through the canals. There is an
optional night tour to observe Green Turtles nesting (July
through September).

Day 8: Transportation will be provided back through the
canals
and through the mountains to the Hampton Inn & Suites in Alajuela. This is a standard room that offers your choice of a one King size bed or two Queen size beds. This room also comes furnished with a small refrigerator for any refreshments and a microwave oven for your convenience.
