Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Juan Santamaria
International Airport, you will be greeted by a Pacific Trade Winds S.A.
representative. You will then be brought to the 4 Star Hampton Inn and Suites located in Alajuela. This is a standard room that offers your choice of a one King size bed or two Queen size beds. This room also comes furnished with a small refrigerator for any refreshments and a microwave oven for your convenience. Breakfast included daily. (Rental Car can be substituted for provided transportation. Inquire for details.)

Day 2: After breakfast is served, transportation will be provided to the San Jose
Airport. You will then make the exciting flight over our small country and
land in Drakes Bay. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transfered by a representative of Poor Man's Paradise to the ocean front lodge. During your stay, you will enjoy a private cabin with 3 meals per day included. |

Day 3: A full day of adventure: Today you will visit Isla del Caño
National Park. After an hour of optional snorkeling, your
bilingual naturalist guide will lead you on a moderate level
hike through this remote island. He will point out and explain
the abundant flora, fauna and wildlife. Isla del Caño is home
to a Pre-Columbian cemetery as well as home to several of
the mysterious spheres only known to have been found in
southern Costa Rica.

Day 4: You will go on a Dolphin and Whale watching tour off the Osa Peninsula coastline. Your bilingual naturalist guide will point out the curious water dwelling mammals and explain the importance of the animals in our environment. This area is utilized by many species as a nursery for their young. |
Day 5: Today you will visit the jungles of Corcovado National Park.
A bilingual naturalist guide will point out the abundant wildlife, flora & fauna. National Geographic Magazine proclaimed this area
among the world's most biologically intense places. This park is
the largest protected Rainforest in the country and is home to a
wide variety of endangered species. |
Day 6: Transportation will be provided to Drakes Bay Airport, where you will take the return flight to San Jose. Upon arrival, a private transfer will be provided back to the 4 Star Hampton Inn and Suites located in Alajuela. Again, you will enjoy a standard room with breakfast included. |
Day 7: Private transportation will be provided to
Juan Santamaria International Airport scheduled to
arrive 3 hours prior to your departure.
