Day 1:  Welcome to Costa Rica!  Upon arrival to Daniel O'Duber International Airport in Liberia (Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose can easily be arranged), you will be greeted by a Pacific Trade Winds S.A. representative. Private transportation will then be provided to Hotel Playa Hermosa Bosque del Mar, a beachfront hotel in Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste.  This boutique hotel offers a charming, intimate, and relaxing style.  Recently completely renovated, you will enjoy a Junior Suite with 2 queen size beds, sitting area, coffee maker, mini-bar, A/C, terrace or porch, ceiling fan, private bathroom with shower, and cable TV.  Less than a minute walk to the sand and ocean, and complemented with a gourmet restaurant, lounge bar, conference hall, wireless internet access, parking area and laundry. Breakfast included daily.

Day 2: Located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Hotel Playa Hermosa is a perfect launching point for a day of Fun in the Sun and exploration. This day will allow you to familiarize yourself with the Village and the Sea as you prepare for the days of adventure to come.

Day 3:  Today you will go Ocean Kayaking & Snorkeling along the Playa Hermosa coast line passing by islands and inlets.  You will kayak up to a beautiful and tranquil beach where you will have the chance to go for a leisurely swim. No experience is necessary for this excursion, professional guides will be with you for the whole trip.

Day 4: Another chance to get back to the self-adventure you started earlier. This will give you the chance to explore the town, spend a day in paradise, and maybe have a cocktail at the many beach side restaurants and bars. Find your favorite location and settle in to watch an amazing sunset.

Day 5: Transportation will be provided to the Hacienda Guachipelin Adventure Ranch, bordering the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. During your stay, you will enjoy a Standard Room with A/C, two double beds, and breakfast included daily.

In the Afternoon, EXCITEMENT awaits you with what many consider to be the most thrilling canopy tour in the country. Imagine yourself doing extravagant activities such as Rappeling, Rock Climbing, Canopy, Tarzan Swings, Via Ferrata, Hanging Bridges, all in a mystical setting of a canyon made by the erosion of the Blanco River over millions of years.

Day 6: Another awe-insiring day of adventure as you you start your day with a 45-minute horseback ride through dry forest, to the base of La Victoria Waterfall. After a safety briefing, everyone will be provided their own personal round raft (tube). As you are guided through the white rapids of the Rio Negro, you will pass through class I and II rapids with a remarkable view of scenery in the canyon.
