Day 1:  Welcome to Costa Rica!  Upon arrival to Juan Santamaria International Airport, you will be greeted by a Costa Rica Vacation Pac representative.  Private transportation will then be provided to the Holiday Inn Express, located in Alajuela. During your stay, you will enjoy a comfortably equipped room with choice of 1 King or 2 Double beds, Coffee Maker, Hair dryer, Iron and ironing board, Cable T.V., Wireless phone with voice mail,  Free internet access, Digital safety box, Work desk in room Air conditioning and Breakfast included.

Day 2: Private transportation will be provided to Rio Mar Eco-lodge, located in Dominical.  During your stay, you will enjoy a Superior Room.  Superior Rooms have a private, terrace like living-room and are equipped with private bath and hot water, A/C, refrigerator, fans and telephone.  Each room is equipped with one Queen size bed and one single bed.

Day 3: Alright, let's face it.  We have all dreamed about surfing.  Now here is your opportunity to learn how.  The guys down at Surf Adventures are going to supply you with a board and teach you how to use it.  After a couple of hours of Surf School, you will be able to practice on your own with an additional all day board rental provided.

Day 4:Today you will soar through the tree tops of the Rainforest on your high speed, high flying Canopy Zipline Adventure. The Canopy Zipline Tour is the most popular adventure activity offered in the country.

Along with this Canopy tour, you will join the wildlife atop the forest as you scale a 120 ft tree. Climbing experts will set you up with equipment to climb up the side of the tree to a platform, and then rappel back down to ground level. Make sure you take the time to look around from this birds eye view. This adventure also includes a guided nature hike through the jungle.

Day 5: You will go on an adventure like no other, deep into the mountainous jungles of the South Pacific coast.  Your adventure will begin with a strenuous hike up the mountain side with a bilingual naturalist guide.  Your guide will stop you along the way to point out different edible plants and plants with medicinal purposes.  After a couple hours of hiking you will have reached the majestic Baru Waterfalls.  The falls are a very special place and actually fall in front of a cave. 

This is where it gets exciting!  You will actually spend the night in the cave!  The family that runs this unique tour has equipped the cave with modern conveniences such as beds, fully functioning kitchen, modern toilets and showers.  After settling into camp, you will have the opportunity to rappel down the waterfalls several times, utilizing the latest safety equipment and techniques that your guides will instruct you on.

Day 6: After a hearty breakfast you will break camp for the Diamante Waterfalls.  This is another strenuous hike - but well worth it.  The hike will take you into Primary Cloud Forest and to the falls.  While you are here, you will have the opportunity to jump off cliffs into the refreshing pool below.  After a couple hours you will make the descent back down to ground level.  Once back from the tour, transportation will be provided back to Villas Rio Mar.

Day 7: Today we allow for the opportunity for you two create your own day. If more adventure is what you seek, you have the oppotunity to add a tour of some kind. If beach and relaxation is what you crave, you can grab a cocktail or refreshment at one of the beach side huts and find a shady palm. You can also choose to add some more surf rental and fit in one more surf lesson.

Day 8: After a final morning on the beaches of paradise, transportation will be provided back to Holiday Inn Express, located in Alajuela. During your stay, you will enjoy a comfortably equipped room with choice of 1 King or 2 Double beds, Coffee Maker, Hair dryer, Iron and ironing board, Cable T.V., Wireless phone with voice mail,  Free internet access, Digital safety box, Work desk in room Air conditioning and Breakfast included.

Day 9:  Private transportation will be provided to Juan Santamaria International Airport scheduled to arrive 3 hours prior to your departure.
