Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (San Jose International Airport can easily be arranged), you will be greeted by a Pacific Trade Winds S.A. representative. Private transportation will then be provided to the 4 Star Arenal Springs Resort located in La Fortuna. This fun little tourist town is located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano. During your stay, you will enjoy a Junior Suite equipped with king or queen size beds, A/C, cable TV, ceiling fan, refrigerator, telephone, security box, hair dryer, and Terrace with an amazing view of Arenal Volcano.

Day 2: In the afternoon, you will go on an easy hike through the Rainforest, with a bilingual naturalist guide who will point out the abundant wildlife, flora & fauna. When you reach the clearing, you will be at the closest observation point to Arenal Volcano. Being the third most active volcano in the world, Arenal erupts every 5 to 10 minutes.
After approximately 45 minutes of viewing, you will visit the geo-thermally heated Baldi Hot Springs where you will be able to relax & bathe as Arenal erupts in the background. Dinner included.
Options: Upgrade to Tabacon Hot Springs or Eco Termales Hot Springs for an additional $50 per person including dinner.

Day 3: Professional bilingual guides will lead you through class II and III rapids on one of Costa Rica's best Whitewater Rafting rivers, the Rio Balsa. This fun filled adventure will provide plenty of memories and stories for your friends and family.

Make it a MAMBO COMBO: Prepare yourself for an action packed day like no other! In the morning, professional bilingual guides will lead you through a series of 4 Rappels Down Rainforest Waterfalls on your "Lost Canyon Adventure."

Day 4: A transfer will be provided to the 4 Star, All Inclusive Barcelo Langosta Beach Resort. During your stay, you will enjoy All Inclusive accommodations, including all meals & drinks, (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic). Your Superior Room is equipped with 1 King or 2 Double beds, Air Conditioning, Ceiling Fan, telephone, TV, mini bar, safe, coffee maker and with Garden or Las Baulas Estuary views.
Tamarindo is an excellent beach destination for both surfing and swimming. This streets of this fun tourist geared town are lined with shops, restaurants and souvenir stands.

Day 5: Be sure to eat a light breakfast! Today you will go on a high speed, high flying canopy zipline adventure. On this gravity defying adventure, you will soar through the canopy of the rain forest on zipline cables, suspended by wheel and harness.

Day 6: A final chance to get back on the beach in front of the Pacific Sun and work on that tropical tan. This day will give you the opportunity to do what you want and make your own adventure! Whether relaxing on the beach beneath a shady palm tree with a refreshing beverage or choosing to take advantage of the many activities available at Barcelo Langosta Resort, be sure to take advantage of this last whole day in Paradise!

Day 7: Transportation will be provided to Liberia International Airport scheduled to arrive 3 hours prior to your departure.
Alternative Airport Options:
A) Shuttle transfer is available to San Jose Airport (SJO) for no additional cost if your flight is after 3pm.
B) Private transfers are available for any flight time for an additional cost, please inquire for details.
C) We can provide an afternoon shuttle to the Holiday Inn Express Airport hotel on Day 6 and provide an airport shuttle on Day 7 for no additional charge. If you choose this option lunch and dinner will not be provided on Day 6.
D) You can add an additional night at an airport hotel. Contact us for options and pricing.
